- Last great book I read:
- I started reading Viktor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning" and Irvin Yalom's "Love's Executioner" last semester, and have loved what I've read. All I read these days is psych/counseling textbookstuff... Nothing worth name-dropping at a cocktail party.
- 3 things I want to do before I die:
- 1 Live in Japan, Berlin, and Prague (again), maybe Venice too.
2 Run a dive tour co. and cabanas in Tulum.
3 Learn to play drums a bit better.
Can I make it 4?
4 Become enlightented.
Or 5? Have babies one day in my late 30s if I'm not barren or just maybe a second dog, a fuzzy cat, or a pet monkey.
Maybe 6? Finish grad school one day and have a psychotherapy private practice. Before then, a survival job I don't hate.
Or 7 Finish rennovating my house...
Life's too short...as are the days.

- I'm empathetic (almost to a fault some days), engaging, passionate, compassionate, independent, sassy, opinionated, easily exitable, and characterized by bursts of creativity and sleeplesness...as well as heated discussions and giggle fits, and sleepfullness. I have a dead-on 6th sense and intuition. Also, I often hear the Wizard of Oz theme for the Wicked Witch of the West in my head when riding on my scooter...you know, "duh dut de dut de duh duh..." And I have a weak spot for animals, esp. pound puppies. I can be a tom-boy and like getting dirty. I'm nearly impossible to offend in conversational banter, but ignorance and narrowmindedness drive me up a wall, and I am quick to snap when my rights or those of my loved ones are being infringed upon. My social life has dwindled since buying a house and starting grad school, but I'm content most days...and I love being given reasons to leave the house...for parties, shows, playing outdoors, etc.
